Competact side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from GERMANY on Dec 11, 2007. Female patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Competact. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, anaemia, aphonia, bradycardia, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, cardiovascular insufficiency, diabetic nephropathy, dizziness What is  dizziness, dry skin. Competact dosage: PIOGLITAZONE 15 MG /METFORMIN 850 MG PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with GLYBURIDE, LISI PLUS, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Competact. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, aortic arteriosclerosis, atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, blood thyroid stimulating hormone increased, cytolytic hepatitis, decubitus ulcer, disease complication, glycosylated haemoglobin increased, haematoma. Competact dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AVANDAMET, DIAMICRON, IRBESARTAN, LASIX, EUPRESSYL, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, LEVOTHYROXINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
