Cortef Side Effects Report #5060659-5
Cortef side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 10, 2006. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with pituitary tumour, meningitis bacterial, hypothyroidism and was treated with Cortef. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, adrenocortical insufficiency acute, amnesia, hypothyroidism, loss of consciousness, meningitis bacterial, weight decreased. Cortef dosage: 65 MG (65 MG, 1 IN 1 D) ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, LEVOTHYROXINE, SYNTHROID, TAMSULOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE, MAGNESIUM, VITAMIN E. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Cortef dosage: 30 MG (2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, LEVOTHYROXINE, SYNTHROID, TAMSULOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE, MAGNESIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
