Crixivan Side Effects Report #5011221-1
Crixivan side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on May 11, 2006. Male patient, 52 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Crixivan. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood cholesterol increased, blood triglycerides increased, hyperlipidaemia, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, pulmonary tuberculosis. Crixivan dosage: 400 MG/BID. During the same period patient was treated with EFAVIRENZ, ZIAGEN, NORVIR, PENTAMIDINE ISETHIONATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial hypertrophy, blood cholesterol increased, blood triglycerides increased, hypertension, hypertensive crisis, left ventricular hypertrophy, lipoatrophy, lipomatosis, reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome. Crixivan dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LAMIVUDINE, TENOFOVIR, ZIDOVUDINE, PRAVASTATIN, EFAVIRENZ. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
