Curosurf side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on July 28, 2006. Male patient, weighting 2.36 lb, was diagnosed with respiratory distress and was treated with Curosurf. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adrenal cortical insufficiency, capillary leak syndrome, cerebral haemorrhage neonatal, disseminated intravascular coagulation, flatulence, intestinal ischaemia, neonatal hypotension. Curosurf dosage: 200 MG/KG. Patient died.

Female patient, weighting 1.52 lb, was diagnosed with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome and was treated with Curosurf. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation in newborn, haemorrhage neonatal, neonatal respiratory failure, pulmonary haemorrhage. Curosurf dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMPICILLIN, DOPAMINE, INSULIN, GENTAMICIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/14/2006.

During the same period patient was treated with DOPAMINE, AMPICILLIN, GENTAMICIN, ACETATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
