Cystagon side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Oct 15, 2008. Female patient, 24 years of age, was diagnosed with cystinosis and was treated with Cystagon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, dialysis , parosmia, renal failure, transplant failure. Cystagon dosage: 43 MG/KG;DAILY; 48 MG/KG;DAILY; 51 MG/KG;DAILY;. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Cystagon side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Jan 10, 2005. Female patient, child 11 years of age, was diagnosed with cystinosis and was treated with Cystagon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, dialysis , mass, myopathy, osteosclerosis, skin lesion, skin nodule. Cystagon dosage: 90MG/KG/DAY, THEN 53MG/KG/D, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with INSULIN, INSULIN ISOPHANE, SOMATROPINE, CALCIDIOL, EPOETIN BETA, SACCHARATED IRON OXIDE, FOLIC ACID, RIBOFLAVIN. Patient recovered.
