Dacogen side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 10, 2008. Male patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Dacogen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, anaemia, blood bilirubin increased, blood sodium decreased, platelet count decreased, pneumonia
, prothrombin time prolonged, respiratory failure, white blood cell count increased. Dacogen dosage: 40 MG, 1 IN 1 DAY; INJECTION. During the same period patient was treated with FORTAZ, ACETAMINOPHEN, PRBC, PLATELETS, LEVAQUIN, PROCRIT. Patient died on 08/30/2006.Dacogen Side Effects Report #5748883-7

Dacogen dosage: 27.3 MG, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with NEXIUM, METFORMIN, DECADRON, KYTRIL, PROCRIT, DILANTIN KAPSEAL, NEULASTA. Patient recovered.

Dacogen dosage: 27.3 MG, INTRAVENOUS; 20 MG/M2, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with DECADRON, PROCRIT. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, cardiac tamponade, pericarditis, renal failure, thrombosis, transaminases increased. Dacogen dosage: 48 MG;QD;IV. During the same period patient was treated with LEVAQUIN, SYNTHROID, PROTONIX, DARVOCET, SENOKOT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
