Dapsone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on June 13, 2007. Male patient, 45 years of age, weighting 116.6 lb, was diagnosed with antifungal prophylaxis and was treated with Dapsone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, bilirubin conjugated increased, blood albumin decreased, blood bilirubin increased, coagulopathy, diarrhoea, eosinophilia. Dapsone dosage: 100 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ATOVAQUONE. Patient died on 05/16/2007.
