Dapsone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 30, 2006. Female patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia and was treated with Dapsone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: corneal abrasion, erythema multiforme, stevens-johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Dapsone dosage: 200 MG PO DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with TESSALON, FAMVIR, MAGIC MOUTHWASH, BENADRYL, ATROVENT, PROTONIX. Patient recovered.

Dapsone side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 16, 2007. Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 153.2 lb, was treated with Dapsone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: no therapeutic response, stevens-johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Dapsone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LEXAPRO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Dapsone dosage: 100MG DAILY PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
