Decitabine side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Oct 23, 2007. Female patient, 76 years of age, weighting 137.8 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Decitabine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, thrombocytopenia. Decitabine dosage: 233.55 MG, 1 IN 6 WEEK, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with BACTRIM DS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
