Defibrotide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on June 12, 2008. Female patient, 26 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with venoocclusive liver disease and was treated with Defibrotide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dialysis What is  dialysis, renal failure acute. Defibrotide dosage: 460 MG EVERY 6 HOURS IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with GANCICLOVIR, LACTULOSE, METHADONE, MICAFUNGIN, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, ZOSYN, SEROQUEL. Patient died on 06/09/2008.
