Depakine Side Effects Report #4869983-X
Depakine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Dec 15, 2005. Female patient, 35 years of age, was diagnosed with suicide attempt, epilepsy , depression  and was treated with Depakine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, hepatic failure, hypoglycaemia, intentional overdose, metabolic acidosis, pneumonia , shock, thrombocytopenia. Depakine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DEPAKINE CHRONO, TOPIRAMATE, BROMAZEPAM, ZOLPIDEM TARTRATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, cough, diarrhoea, hepatic failure, hyperthermia, petechiae, pulmonary congestion, thrombocytopenia, transaminases increased. Depakine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OXCARBAZEPINE, TOPIRAMATE, BACLOFEN, DOMPERIDONE, MOVICOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
