Desferrioxamine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on Dec 09, 2003. Male patient, 86 years of age, was diagnosed with haemosiderosis, diabetes mellitus insulin-dependent and was treated with Desferrioxamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose decreased, hypoglycaemia, malaise. Desferrioxamine dosage: 500MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with DESFERRIOXAMINE MESYLATE, GLICLAZIDE, NICORANDIL, BUMETANIDE, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient recovered.
