Dexmedetomidine Side Effects Report #6128777-8
Dexmedetomidine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Mar 12, 2009. Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with induction of anaesthesia, maintenance of anaesthesia and was treated with Dexmedetomidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety postoperative, blood pressure fluctuation, blood pressure increased, insomnia, respiratory acidosis, respiratory arrest, respiratory depression, sedation. Dexmedetomidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL, DORMICUM, SEVOFRANE, ULTIVA, PROPOFOL, MUSCULAX, HUMULIN R. Patient recovered.
