Dexmedetomidinee side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 28, 2008. Female patient, 41 years of age, weighting 363.8 lb, was diagnosed with maintenance of anaesthesia, induction of anaesthesia, endotracheal intubation, prophylaxis of nausea and vomiting, neuromuscular blockade reversal and was treated with Dexmedetomidinee. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block second degree, electrocardiogram pr prolongation, electrocardiogram qt prolonged. Dexmedetomidinee dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL CITRATE, SUCCINYLCHOLINE CHLORIDE, DROPERIDOL, NEOSTIGMINE METHYLSULPHATEECTION, DESFLURANE, DOLASETRON, PROPOFOL, LIDOCAINE. Patient recovered.
