Dextran side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 29, 2009. Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 128.1 lb, was diagnosed with acute respiratory distress syndrome, renal tubular necrosis and was treated with Dextran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, lung injury, renal tubular necrosis. Dextran dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
