Dextrose side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from CANADA on Dec 07, 2006. Male patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer  and was treated with Dextrose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysarthria, mental status changes. Dextrose dosage: 220 ML. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOROURACIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Dextrose side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 16, 2008. Male patient, 84 years of age, weighting 121.3 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Dextrose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, haemoglobin decreased, hypotension, lethargy, mental status changes, retroperitoneal haemorrhage. Dextrose dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
