Didanosine Side Effects Report #4562454-X
Didanosine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Jan 18, 2005. Female patient, 43 years of age, weighting 92.59 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Didanosine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, diarrhoea, metabolic acidosis, nausea , renal failure, weight decreased. Didanosine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CAPRAVIRINE, KALETRA, TENOFOVIR, LAMIVUDINE, PREDNISONE, THEOPHYLLINE, VITAMIN, METFORMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Didanosine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CAPRAVIRINE, KALETRA, TENOFOVIR, LAMIVUDINE, PREDNISONE, THEOPHYLLINE, VITAMINS, METFORMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/21/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depression , nausea , rash , renal impairment. Didanosine dosage: BASELINE DOSE 250 DAILY; CHANGED TO 100 MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with ENFUVIRTIDE, TENOFOVIR, LAMIVUDINE, LOPINAVIR, TRIMETHOPRIM, SULFAMETHOXAZOLE, AZITHROMYCIN, POTASSIUM BICARBONATE. Patient recovered.
