Digitoxin and bradyarrhythmia Patient Reports March 19, 2010

Digitoxin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from GERMANY on Feb 25, 2009. Male patient, 86 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation , dementia  and was treated with Digitoxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradyarrhythmia. Digitoxin dosage: 0.07 MG; DAILY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL TARTRATE, ASS SANDOZ, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, PIPAMPERONE, RAMIPRIL, ZOLPIDEM, RIVASTIGMINE TARTRATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
