Dimethyl side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on May 30, 2007. Female patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma
and was treated with Dimethyl. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain
, activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, aspartate aminotransferase increased, asterixis, bradycardia, cerebral infarction, clonus, encephalopathy, faecal incontinence. Dimethyl dosage: 10%/500ML,INTRAVENOUS (NOT SPECI TWO DOSES OVER TWO DAYS. During the same period patient was treated with NEUPOGEN, MELPHALAN, ALLOPURINOL, ESCITALOPRAM OXALATE, LORAZEPAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
