Divalproex side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 29, 2005. Male patient, weighting 190.0 lb, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Divalproex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ammonia increased, coordination abnormal, dysarthria, hepatic encephalopathy. Divalproex dosage: 250 MG PO BID. During the same period patient was treated with BENZTROPINE MESYLATE, HALOPERIDOL, OMEPRAZOLE, DOCUSATE, HALOPERIDOL DECANOATE, TRAZODONE, IBUPROFEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient recovered.

Divalproex dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZIPRASIDONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/09/2008.
