Dofetilide side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 13, 2007. Male patient, 72 years of age, weighting 229.3 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation , hyperlipidaemia and was treated with Dofetilide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , condition aggravated, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, liver function test abnormal. Dofetilide dosage: 0.125 MG, 0.25 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
