Ecotrin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Aug 03, 2005. Female patient, 65 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with retinal artery occlusion, epilepsy , blood cholesterol increased, osteoporosis , vitamin supplementation and was treated with Ecotrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, angina pectoris, blood iron decreased, cardiac stress test abnormal, dyspnoea exertional, fatigue, fluid overload, gastric ulcer, gastritis erosive. Ecotrin dosage: 81MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ZONEGRAN, KEPPRA, TOPROL, ZETIA, ACTONEL, VITAMINS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 80 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis, blood homocysteine increased and was treated with Ecotrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, asthenia, faecal occult blood positive, haemoglobin decreased, platelet count decreased. Ecotrin dosage: 325MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ZOCOR, ALLEGRA, FOLIC ACID, LIPITOR. Patient recovered.

Ecotrin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LIPITOR, BENADRYL, MELATONIN, CITRACAL, LISINOPRIL, CELEBREX, ANTACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
