Emtricitabine Side Effects Report #5205802-X
Emtricitabine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 08, 2007. Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 105.8 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Emtricitabine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: palpitations, psychotic disorder , stevens-johnson syndrome. Emtricitabine dosage: 200 MG QHS PO. During the same period patient was treated with TENOFOVIR, EFAVIRENZ, NEVIRAPINE. Patient died on 11/13/2006.
