Entacapone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Aug 22, 2008. Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Entacapone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: akinesia, coma, sudden onset of sleep, unresponsive to stimuli. Entacapone dosage: 200 MG/ BD ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SINEMET. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with SINEMET, SINEMET CR, TRIMIPRAMINE MALEATE, FINASTERIDE, TAMSULOSIN MR, SENNA, ASPIRIN, CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
