Eptifibatide side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 13, 2008. Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 222.7 lb, was diagnosed with post procedural myocardial infarction, acute myocardial infarction and was treated with Eptifibatide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , acute myocardial infarction, cardio-respiratory arrest, electromechanical dissociation, haemorrhage, hypotension, ischaemia, no therapeutic response, papillary muscle disorder. Eptifibatide dosage: 18MG BOLUS, 16MG INFUSION IV. During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN, LISINOPRIL, SIMVASTATIN, ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL. Patient died on 11/28/2007.

During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN, QUINAPRIL, PLAVIX, LIPITOR, NORVASC, TOPROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with CLOPIDOGREL, HEPARIN, ASPIRIN. Patient died on 12/01/2007.
