Eptifibatide side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 01, 2005. Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 231.5 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis, stent occlusion, catheterisation cardiac, myocardial infarction and was treated with Eptifibatide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, haemodynamic instability, hypoxia, loss of consciousness, post procedural haemorrhage, pulmonary alveolar haemorrhage. Eptifibatide dosage: 12.6MG/HR X 2 HOURS IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN, CLOPIDOGREL, ASPIRIN, NITROGLYCERIN. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 79 years of age, weighting 169.5 lb, was diagnosed with chest pain  and was treated with Eptifibatide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pulmonary alveolar haemorrhage. Eptifibatide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLOPIDOGREL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
