Ertapenem side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Feb 23, 2005. Male patient, 86 years of age, weighting 169.8 lb, was diagnosed with abscess intestinal and was treated with Ertapenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, amnesia, asthenia, difficulty in walking, dysarthria. Ertapenem dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
