Ertapenem side effect was reported by a Health Professional from AUSTRIA on Apr 24, 2007. Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 198.4 lb, was diagnosed with diabetic foot infection and was treated with Ertapenem. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hemiparesis, muscular weakness, psychotic disorder What is  psychotic disorder. Ertapenem dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN AND CLAVULANATE POTASSIUM, CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, CARVEDILOL, PROTHIPENDYL HYDROCHLORIDE, BITOLTEROL MESYLATE, FUSIDATE, PIPERACILLIN AND TAZOBACTAM. Patient recovered.
