Female patient, 75 years of age, weighting 97.00 lb, was diagnosed with mycobacterium avium complex infection and was treated with Ethambutol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chromatopsia, vision blurred, visual disturbance. Ethambutol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PROPRANOLOL, DIAZEPAM, ESTRING, PREDNISONE, RANITIDINE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cataract , cerebral atrophy, cerebral ischaemia, chromatopsia, lacunar infarction, maculopathy, optic ischaemic neuropathy. Ethambutol dosage: 1400 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with RIFAMPICIN, CLARITHROMYCIN, LISINOPRIL W. Patient recovered.
