Etravirine and brain abscess Patient Reports February 09, 2010

Etravirine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 03, 2007. Male patient was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Etravirine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, brain abscess, non-hodgkin's lymphoma, pneumonia , sinusitis . Etravirine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREZISTA, RITONAVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/21/2007.
