Eupantol side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 14, 2005. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with oesophageal ulcer, endocarditis , cytomegalovirus infection , bronchopulmonary aspergillosis and was treated with Eupantol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, cholestasis, condition aggravated, cytomegalovirus infection , endocarditis bacterial, febrile bone marrow aplasia, multi-organ failure, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Eupantol dosage: 40 MG 1X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN, GANCICLOVIR, FOSCAVIR, GENTAMICIN, VFEND, BACTRIM, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Female patient, 93 years of age, was diagnosed with duodenal ulcer and was treated with Eupantol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, condition aggravated, femur fracture, inflammation, renal failure acute, urinary tract infection . Eupantol dosage: 40 MG 1X PER 1 DAY INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CLAMOXYL, NEXIUM, OLMETEC, OFLOXACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, condition aggravated, gastric ulcer, haemoglobin decreased, hydronephrosis, intestinal dilatation, metastases to peritoneum, metastatic neoplasm. Eupantol dosage: 40 MG 1X PER 1 DAY; INTRAVENOUS; 40 MG 1X PER 1 DAY' INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RANITIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE, LOVENOX, PERFALGAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
