Male patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with benign prostatic hyperplasia and was treated with Finasteride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: prostatic specific antigen abnormal, prostatic specific antigen increased. Finasteride dosage: 5 MG DAILY; PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
