Fludara Side Effects Report #6135091-3
Fludara side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Mar 19, 2009. Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with t-cell lymphoma stage iv and was treated with Fludara. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute hepatic failure, candida sepsis, cytomegalovirus infection , engraft failure, febrile neutropenia, multi-organ failure, pneumonia , renal failure acute, thrombotic microangiopathy. Fludara dosage: AS USED: 50 MG UNIT DOSE: 50 MG. During the same period patient was treated with BUSULFEX, SANDIMMUNE, DEPAKENE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/23/2008.

Male patient, 18 years of age, weighting 127.9 lb, was diagnosed with t-cell lymphoma, febrile neutropenia, infection prophylaxis and was treated with Fludara. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute graft versus host disease, catheter related infection, cystitis haemorrhagic, cytomegalovirus infection , engraftment syndrome, febrile neutropenia, histiocytosis haematophagic, liver disorder. Fludara dosage: TOTAL DAILY DOSE: 50 MG UNIT DOSE: 50 MG. During the same period patient was treated with MEROPEN, TARGOCID, FUNGUARD, METHOTREXATE, MELPHALAN, LYMPHOGLOBULINE, PREDONINE, BAKTAR. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cytomegalovirus infection , stem cell transplant, toxic epidermal necrolysis, unevaluable event. Fludara dosage: 180 MG/M2, 1X/DAY, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with BISULFAN, CYCLOSPORINE. Patient died.
