Flutamide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from TAIWAN, PROVINCE OF CHINA on Feb 20, 2008. Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with prostate cancer  and was treated with Flutamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute hepatic failure, hepatitis . Flutamide dosage: 750 MG;DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with LUTEINIZING HORMONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Flutamide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from SPAIN on Jan 14, 2009. Male patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, prostate cancer  and was treated with Flutamide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatitis , hyperbilirubinaemia. Flutamide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VALSARTAN AND HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, ELIGARD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
