Follitropin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Apr 25, 2007. Female patient, 32 years of age, was diagnosed with assisted fertilisation and was treated with Follitropin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, dyspnoea, haematocrit increased, hypovolaemic shock, ovarian enlargement, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, pleural effusion. Follitropin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CHORIONIC GONADOTROPIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, dyspnoea, hypovolaemic shock, ovarian enlargement, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, pleural effusion, respiratory failure, tachycardia, withdrawal bleed. Follitropin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CHORIONIC GONADOTROPIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
