Fosamprenavir and cardiac arrest Patient Reports February 10, 2010

Fosamprenavir Side Effects Report #4736863-X
Fosamprenavir side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Aug 02, 2005. Male patient, 40 years of age, weighting 160.3 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Fosamprenavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , chills, convulsion, diarrhoea, disorientation, encephalopathy, feeling abnormal, heat stroke, hepatic enzyme increased. Fosamprenavir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPZICOM, NORVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/31/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anoxic encephalopathy, bacteria urine identified, brain oedema, cardiac arrest , cerebral haemorrhage, chills, convulsion, depressed level of consciousness, diarrhoea. Fosamprenavir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with EPZICOM, NORVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/31/2005.
