Funguard Side Effects Report #5054145-6
Funguard side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on July 05, 2006. Male patient, 73 years of age, weighting 163.1 lb, was diagnosed with respiratory moniliasis and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aortic aneurysm rupture, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, cardiac arrest , cardiac failure, disease progression, hepatic function abnormal, hyperbilirubinaemia. Funguard dosage: 100 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with TIENAM, TARGOCID. Patient died on 07/20/2005.

Funguard side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 21, 2009. Male patient, 51 years of age, weighting 123.5 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Funguard. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac arrest , continuous haemodiafiltration, haemodialysis, hypotension, intravascular haemolysis, loss of consciousness, mitral valve incompetence. Funguard dosage: 150 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VFEND, TARGOCID, CIPROXAN, MEROPEN, OMEPRALECTION, NEUARTECTION. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , convulsion, depressed level of consciousness, erythema, herpes zoster, swelling, trichosporon infection. Funguard dosage: 100 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN HYDROCHLORIDE, MINOPEN, FIRSTCIN, ZYVOX, ACYCLOVIR, PHENOBAL, LASIX, ALDACTONE A FINE GRANULE. Patient died on 09/27/2008.

Funguard dosage: 100 MG, UID/QD, IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, MINOPEN, FIRSTCIN, ZYVOX, ACYCLOVIR, PHENOBAL, LASIX, ALDACTONE A FINE GRANULE. Patient died on 09/27/2008.

Patient died on 09/27/2008.
