Male patient, 73 years of age, weighting 180.8 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis and was treated with Gatifloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: feeling hot, loss of consciousness, syncope, vision blurred. Gatifloxacin dosage: PO 400 MG. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN, SIMVASTATIN, LISINOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
