Female patient, 69 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Glimepiride. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anaemia, bradycardia, gastrointestinal disorder, haemodialysis, hepatic failure, hypovolaemic shock, lactic acidosis, necrosis. Glimepiride dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AVANDAMET, ISOPTIN, COAPROVEL, BURINEX, ADANCOR, TAHOR, VASTAREL, PLAVIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
