Glivec side effect was reported by a Physician from DENMARK on Mar 20, 2007. Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia, hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Glivec. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, cardiotoxicity, chronic myeloid leukaemia, gait disturbance, hepatic enzyme abnormal, rhabdomyolysis. Glivec dosage: 200 MG/DAY, ORAL, ORAL, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN, NEXIUM, CENTYL, RAMIPRIL, HJERTEMAGNYL DAK, ZOLPIDEM TARTRATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Glivec side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on June 12, 2008. Male patient, weighting 163.1 lb, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Glivec. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute lymphocytic leukaemia, alanine aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood creatinine increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood urea increased, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, monocyte count increased. Glivec dosage: 400 MG/ DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ONCOVIN, PREDONINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatinine increased, cheilitis, cytolytic hepatitis, dermatitis bullous, febrile bone marrow aplasia, gastric mucosal lesion, hypernatraemia. Glivec dosage: 600 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE, VINCRISTINE, ENDOXAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
