Glucobay Side Effects Report #5706691-7
Glucobay side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Apr 03, 2008. Female patient, 73 years of age, weighting 108.0 lb, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Glucobay. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, intestinal obstruction, vomiting. Glucobay dosage: AS USED: 150 MG UNIT DOSE: 150 MG. During the same period patient was treated with NOVOLIN R, ATELEC, DEPAS, ALOSENN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depression , diarrhoea, fatigue, feeling abnormal, hepatic failure, oedema, palpitations, renal failure acute, speech disorder. Glucobay dosage: 10 MG TOTAL DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with HORDEUM VULGARE, ANTACYANOSIDES, ADLAC, INDER, SENOKOT, HORDEUM VULGARE. Patient died on 11/01/2004.

Glucobay side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on June 01, 2006. Male patient, 60 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Glucobay. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amnesia, apathy, blood pressure increased, depressed level of consciousness, diarrhoea, feeling abnormal, glycosylated haemoglobin increased, hypoglycaemic coma, influenza like illness. Glucobay dosage: 300 MG, TOTAL DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with GLIMEPIRIDE, PANIPENEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
