Female patient, 83 years of age, weighting 121.3 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Glucobay. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pneumatosis intestinalis. Glucobay dosage: 100 MG, TID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with AMARYL, MELBIN, ASPIRIN, PANALDINE, AMLODIN, DIOVAN, RYTHMODAN, NITOROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
