Halothane side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 01, 2008. Female patient, child 4 years of age, weighting 79.37 lb, was diagnosed with induction and maintenance of anaesthesia and was treated with Halothane. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute hepatic failure, alpha 1 foetoprotein increased, antibody test positive, asthma What is  asthma, blood pressure diastolic decreased, body temperature increased, cholestasis, coagulopathy, condition aggravated. Halothane dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM, OXYGEN, ACETAMINOPHEN WITH CODEINE, BECLOMETHASONE DIPROPIONATE, ALBUTEROL, ANTIBIOTICS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
