Female patient, 36 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Hydralazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, cardiomegaly, computerised tomogram abnormal, connective tissue disorder
, delirium, diffuse alveolar damage. Hydralazine dosage: 100 MG QDAY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ATENOLOL, CLONIDINE, NIFEDIPINE, FOSINOPRIL, LEVOFLOXACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.Hydralazine Side Effects Report #5731409-1

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspartate aminotransferase increased, asthenia, blood bilirubin increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, hellp syndrome, hepatic enzyme increased, hyperkalaemia, hyperreflexia. Hydralazine dosage: 10 MG, TID. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, DANAZOL, FOLIC ACID. Patient recovered.
