Hydroxychloroqui side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 26, 2007. Female patient, 56 years of age, weighting 155.9 lb, was diagnosed with sjogren's syndrome  and was treated with Hydroxychloroqui. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abscess of salivary gland, condition aggravated, dry mouth, dysphagia, emotional distress, fatigue, fear, lymph node pain. Hydroxychloroqui dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ATENOLOL, PREMARIN, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus and was treated with Hydroxychloroqui. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure congestive, dyspnoea exertional, fatigue, jugular vein distension, oedema peripheral, pleural effusion, restrictive cardiomyopathy, retinopathy, weight increased. Hydroxychloroqui dosage: 100 - 200 MG TWICE DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE SULPHATE, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alopecia, amenorrhoea, asthenia, decreased appetite, dysgeusia, fatigue, mood swings, nervousness, pustular psoriasis. Hydroxychloroqui dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE SULPHATE. Patient recovered.
