Male patient, child 9 years of age, was diagnosed with patent ductus arteriosus repair, prophylaxis and was treated with Indocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: connective tissue disorder , hyperglycaemia, intestinal ischaemia, intestinal perforation, necrosis, neonatal disorder, peritonitis. Indocin dosage: 0.2 MG/KG/DAILY; IV. During the same period patient was treated with DECADRON, AMPICILLIN, BERACTANT, CEFOTAXIME. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
