Invirase and atrial fibrillation Patient Reports February 10, 2010

Invirase Side Effects Report #5806215-X
Invirase side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED KINGDOM on July 01, 2008. Male patient, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with cd4 lymphocytes decreased, hiv infection  and was treated with Invirase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspartate aminotransferase increased, atrial fibrillation , blood alkaline phosphatase increased, hepatic failure, jaundice , lactic acidosis, liver function test abnormal, nausea , sepsis . Invirase dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZALCITABINE, ZIDOVUDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/14/1997.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation . Invirase dosage: TOOK THREE TABLETS/ 8 HOURS OF SAQUINAVIR 500 MG FOR THREE DAYS INSTEAD OF SAQUINAVIR 200 MG.. During the same period patient was treated with ZIDOVUDINE, EPIVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
