Iodine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 26, 2005. Male patient, 81 years of age, weighting 198.4 lb, was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism, hip arthroplasty and was treated with Iodine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute prerenal failure, candidiasis, confusional state, contrast media reaction, dialysis What is  dialysis, dyspnoea, multi-organ disorder, nephropathy, pneumonia What is  pneumonia. Iodine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GENTAMICIN, CEFIPIME, DILTIAZEM, WARFARIN, BACTRIM, OMEPRAZOLE, FUROSEMIDE, METOPROLOL. Patient died on 06/24/2005.
