Iohexol side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 07, 2006. Female patient, 59 years of age, weighting 233.0 lb, was diagnosed with scan with contrast, hip arthroplasty and was treated with Iohexol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, contrast media reaction, renal failure acute, retroperitoneal abscess. Iohexol dosage: 150ML ONCE IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, FUROSEMIDE, QUINAPRIL, SIMVASTATIN, ATENOLOL, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, SERTRALINE, INSULIN REGULAR SS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 72 years of age, weighting 132.0 lb, was diagnosed with catheterisation cardiac and was treated with Iohexol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, nephropathy toxic, post procedural complication. Iohexol dosage: 150 ML ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with BUSPIRONE, ACETYLCYSTEINE, NITROGLYN, TRAZODONE, ACETAMINOPHEN, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
