Iohexol side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 04, 2007. Female patient, 89 years of age, weighting 90.17 lb, was diagnosed with scan with contrast, brain oedema and was treated with Iohexol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: contrast media reaction, nephropathy, renal failure acute. Iohexol dosage: 100ML ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with MANNITOL, ASPIRIN, SOTOLOL, SIMVASTATIN, MIRTAZAPINE, OSCAL, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with DOCUSATE, ENOXAPARIN, OSCAL, NIFEDIPINE, LISINOPRIL, AMITRIPTYLINE, FENTANYL, VITAMIN A. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
